The goal of the project is to reduce the underlying causes of migration through the economic strengthening of rural communities and the improvement of living conditions through self-employment in rural or agro-tourism.

According to the Municipal Mayor Edin Delić, Lukavac municipality has greatl potentials for the development of rural tourism, and in compare to other municipalities in BiH, he pointed out that Lukavac is the largest municipality in Tuzla Canton, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which can provide advanced content for this type tourism: "Our municipality is distinguished in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the locations that can provide services for this type of tourism. We have a place in which we can develop accompanying content. What we need is a better organization, few preparation and binding. We have already started to form the Local Action Group in Lukavac, which will support these activities, and in the same time with the education of families, we will also work on registering a rural tourist association "said Delic.

Related the goals of the project, President of the Union for Sustainable Return Mirhunis Zukić said: "In this year when a lot of young people left the country, we want to enable others to stay here and to offer them model of self-employment like in Switzerland and other countries, with the support of the state, where they will be able to work in individual tourism. Our goal is to educate and prepare people to be able to deal with this activity.

In addition to the Lukavac municipality, the project is being implemented in Čapljina and Bihać, as Zukić says, in practice, positive examples are seen in the part of East Bosnia where people offer rooms for the purpose of rural tourism. "What is very important is that they will be connected with our diaspora who is very interested in this kind of cooperation. We already have positive examples, where people offered rooms, where they come, where they feel nice and pleasant, because our country is a country where with a lot more effort and organization can achieve a great result compared to the West" said Zukić.

Education will include households from Lukavac Municipality, who have interest in rural tourism and who will have the support to organize themselves actively in starting their own business through the opening of rural households.
