The Union for sustainable return and integrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina created the webpage named "BH Village" in order to collect information and create offers on tourist destinations related to ethnic villages, rural households, national parks and other destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"BH VILLAGE" aims to improve rural areas that have great potential for developing tourist capacities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We want to motivate and support people that are living in rural areas to start their own business through the service offerings within the rural households and to identify opportunities that can be offered and promoted in those areas. Using good practice and direct insight into needs, our aim is to create solutions that are realistic and feasible, in cooperation with the target groups. More

"Let's make together life better
in Bosnia and Herzegovina"
is supported by the Government of Switzerland:
The Union for Sustainable Return and Integrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina has held educations in November and December 2017 in following towns: Kulen Vakuf (Bihać) - for 27 beneficiaries, in Čapljina - for 8 beneficiaris and in Lukavac - for 11 beneficiaries, where they were informed about 3 modules: rural tourism, brand "bhselo/bhvillage" and business plan. Memorandum for cooperation were signed between the municipalities of Bihać, Lukavac and Capljina and the Union for Sustainable Return and Integration in BiH in order to implement the project and expand the activities on rural tourism. The Mayors of the municipalities expressed their gratitude to the team for their efforts to ensure that their local communities are included in the project "Let's Make Life Better in Bosnia and Herzegovina" and provide their full support in the project implementation. Meetings with tourism communities
During the meetings with the directors of the Una-Sana Canton, the Tuzla Canton and the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Tourist Associations, it has been agreed the mutual-cooperation in order to put all capacities for project implementation, primarily in education of families who want to work in rural tourism in the areas of the mentioned municipalities. Memorandum of understanding has been signed
In order to implement the project of rural tourism in the Municipality of Lukavac, it has been signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Union and the NGO for development of recreational and tourist cycling and environmental protection "Bike Tour" from Lukavac.

Education within the project "Let's make together better future in B&H"
Education within the project "Together Make Life Better in BiH" was held in the meeting room of Lukavac municipality, aimed at reducing the main causes of migration through the economic strengthening of the inhabitants of rural communities and improving the living conditions through self-employment in rural tourism.

Education about "Rural tourism" was held in Čapljina
In the Municipality of Čapljina was held education within the project "Let's make together life better in BiH" supported by the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the Union for Sustainable Return and Integrations in B&H. Education contained two modules, namely "rural tourism" and "brand bh. village".

Education will include households from Lukavac Municipality, who have interest in rural tourism and who will have support to organize their own business through the opening of rural households.

Meeting of the Lukavac municipality representatives and the Union
The topic of the meeting was the capacity building and economic empowerment of 10 rural households from the Lukavac municipality that have showed interest in the development of rural tourism. They should be supported to organize themselves actively in starting their own business through the provision of rural household services.
